Are vibration plates a replacement for normal exercise?
No replacement should be assumed. Use the evidence guide to understand the limits and keep ordinary aerobic and strength activity in view.
Will simply standing on one make me lose weight?
We cannot promise that. A programme name, motor wattage or vibration sensation does not establish a predictable change in body weight.
What is the difference between Hz and speed levels?
Hz is cycles per second. Speed levels are a manufacturer’s control scale. They cannot be compared across machines without the underlying frequency information.
Is a more powerful motor always better?
No. Power figures may be peak, input or another rating. They do not by themselves establish loaded movement, durability, noise or effectiveness.
Can I use one with a medical condition?
Discuss suitability with a qualified clinician and show them the exact model’s manual. This site does not provide individual clearance.
Will it disturb people in the flat below?
It might. Structure-borne vibration and floor construction matter as well as audible motor noise. We have not measured these machines in your building; check installation advice and return terms.
Can I use an ordinary exercise mat underneath?
Follow the machine manufacturer’s surface and mat guidance. An unsuitable mat can affect stability, clearance or ventilation.
Are 3D and 4D standard performance ratings?
No universal quality ranking follows from those names. Compare the physical movement modes and their specifications.
